新疆冠农番茄制品有限公司成立于2008年4月9日，是由上市公司新疆冠农果茸股份有限公司（简称冠农股份，股票代码600251）控股，由新疆生产建设兵团农二师重点扶持发展的以番茄制品深加工带动农二师红色番茄产业经济的龙头企业。
公司地处美丽富饶的新疆中部焉耆盆地，这里昼夜温差大，日照时间长，是中国日照时间最长的地区，拥有未受任何污染的土壤，来自天山的雪水和充足的日照时间使生长出来的番茄色泽鲜艳，固形物含量高，富含红色素，无病虫影响，生长出来的番茄均为非转基因品种，这里已成为全世界不可多得的优质番茄原料产地。
公司采用先进的番茄育种技术，生产所用原料在生产期内由农学专家细心看护，并对质量实行实时控制，质量控制已从生产车间延伸到种植现场，为了保障原料的质量，采用人工采摘的收货方式。在原料运输方面，采用水冲洗方式卸车，并配有全自动多级水循环料池系统等原料保质措施，有效地保证了原料的清洁、完整，降低了霉菌值的产生。企业拥有集食品安全检测、土壤环境监测、食品营养分析及微生物检测功能为一体的专业检验部门。
